Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF): Regenerative, Natural Rejuvenation
PRF is a next-generation, natural treatment that uses your body’s own healing components to restore volume, improve skin texture, and stimulate collagen—sourced naturally from your own blood!
What Makes PRF Unique?
- Made from your body, not from a lab – derived from your own blood!
- Contains platelets, white blood cells, stem cells, and a fibrin matrix
- Slow, sustained release of growth factors over time
- Enhances collagen production and skin regeneration
- Ideal for delicate areas like under eyes, neck, and face
PRF Is Commonly Used For:
- Under-eye hollows (natural volume restoration)
- Fine lines around the mouth and eyes
- Neck rejuvenation
- Natural skin glow and elasticity boost
- Post-microneedling to enhance healing
- As a bio-filler alternative to hyaluronic acid
PRP vs PRF: What’s the Difference?
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) | PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) | |
Composition | High platelet concentration | Platelets + stem cells + WBCs + fibrin matrix |
Release of Growth Factors | Fast, immediate release | Slow, gradual release over 7-10 days |
Best Used For | Microneedling, hair restoration | Under-eye volume, skin texture, neck and face rejuvenation |
Texture | Liquid | Gel-like, can be used as a natural filler |
FAQ
- How many times a year should I get PRF?
- We typically recommend 2 treatments per year to maintain collagen stimulation and skin rejuvenation. Some clients may benefit from an initial series of treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions every 6 months.
- What’s the recovery time like?
- Recovery from PRF is generally minimal. You may experience mild swelling, bruising, or tenderness in the treated area for 1–3 days. Most clients return to normal activities the same or next day.
- PRF or PRP—Which one is right for me?
- Both treatments have regenerative benefits, but they work slightly differently. PRF is slower-releasing and more natural, while PRP is more concentrated and fast-acting. Not sure which is right for your skin goals? Book a consultation, and we’ll guide you based on your unique needs.
- When will I see results from PRF?
- You may begin to notice subtle improvements in skin tone and texture within 2–4 weeks, with continued collagen stimulation and skin tightening occurring gradually over 2–3 months. Results build naturally over time.
