How do threadlifts work?

PDO threads are made of a biocompatible material called polydioxanone. They are minimally invasive procedures used to tighten sagging skin. The expected result is tighter skin with a firmer collagen matrix.

Some lifting results but the best results are after 8 weeks when the body produces new collagen. The typical cycle for creating new collagen is between 2-3 months.

Mono threads: these threads are smooth and inserted into the skin in a mesh-like pattern to give support to the skin and reduce fine lines.
Barbed threads: Barbed sutures have hooks that grasp and lift the skin. They give immediate results with mild lifting ability.
